Man Wanted For Robbing Woman At Long Island Hotel, Police Say

An alert has been issued for a man wanted for allegedly assaulting a woman and robbing her at a Long Island hotel.

Suffolk County Police investigators have released photos of a man who allegedly punched a woman in the face at the Hampton Inn in Islandia on Vets Highway at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The man then allegedly took off with cash, an iPad and four cellphones.

Police described the suspect as a 6-foot tall African American, with a medium build. At the time of the alleged assault, he was wearing a black “bubble-type” jacket and grey sweatpants.
